It's a new year! Time to take those passions and do something with them. Imagine a world where everybody did what they loved and together we were able to support eachother's talents! Let's make it happen!

Sometimes it seems so daunting as a designer to get your work out there. So many questons, so many little nooks and crannies of things you need to know. This workshop was created after 10 years of constant emersion in the fashion industry, beginning with my own handbag line, b.shigley designs, and being an entrepreneur. Now that time has passed, I understand all of the many things you need to know to get your business up and running. This workshop is designed to help emerging designers and creative businesses take their passion and turn it into a business.

I've taken a lot of "How to Start a Business" workshops over the years, and what I liked about Brandi's was how it's geared towards business owners interested in fashion. It offers more than just "how to choose your business entity" instructions. She suggests useful action items designers can do--like how to approach boutiques and how to construct a line sheet.
