This class will teach you the basics of fashion sketching. You do not have to be an excellent artist to learn how to make fashion sketching work for you or your clients. Getting the idea out is half the battle, I'll teach you some ways to deal with the other half. You will learn about the different types of fashion sketching, how to develop a croqui, how to draw clothing so it looks great, body and face proportions, references that you can use,and you will walk away with all of this information in a little booklet. All supplies are provided for the class.

Get an overview of what it is to own a boutique and wear the jacket of owning a store. Learn unique ways to find out if you are ready for this lifestyle event you are creating. Begin the step by step approach you need to get a store open and stay in business for years to come.

The Dress Underneath Monday, September 21, 6 - 9pm
Learn the nitty-gritty in the numbers and terminologies that will become your new language for starting and running a business. Things like open to buy, cost of goods sold, turn over and variable expenses will change your life. Feel good knowing your facts and figures are ready to wear when you open the doors to your public, in your new dress.
